The first subsidized solar power pump of 7.5 HP capacity under Kusum Yojana in Rajasthan was started at Kapadivas village in Jhotwara Panchayat Samiti area of Jaipur.
A subsidized plant of this capacity has been set up in the state for the first time.
60% grant is being given to the farmers on this solar power pump under the Kusum scheme.
In addition to this, up to 30% of the 40% amount of the farmer's share can also be availed from the bank.
Under the budget 2020-2021 Kusum Yojana, 20 lakh solar pumps will be given on the farmers subsidy across the country.
A budget of Rs 267 crore was announced for the installation of 25,000 solar power pump plants in the year 2020-21.

Launched the PM Formalization of Micro Food Processing Enterprises (PM FME) scheme on 29 June 2020 as a part of the "Self-reliant India Campaign". The Union Minister said that the scheme would generate a total investment of Rs 35,000 crore and create 9 lakh skilled and semi-skilled jobs and 8 lakh units would benefit through access to information, training, better performance and formalization.
