Superintendent of Police, Mr. Ajay Singh, Havildar Major Head in the crime seminar organized at the Police Line Jaisalmer. Kani Dr. Jalam Singh presented a copy of his book "Economic Crime and Police".
Dr. Jalam Singh was honored with the prestigious Pandit Govind Vallabh Pant National Award at the Foundation Day Celebration of Police Research and Development Bures by the Home Minister of India on 28 August 2019.
Recently on 10 June 2020, in the Ministry of Home Affairs, Shri. This book was released by Kishan Reddy, Union Minister of State for Home Affairs. A total of 7 chapters in the book attempt to elaborately illustrate growing economic crimes over time.

The Union Minister for Human Resource Development, Mr. Ramesh Pokhriyal ‘Nishank’ today issued ‘Pragyata’ (PRAGYATA) guidelines on digital education through online medium in New Delhi.
These guidelines will curb the number of online sessions a day and its duration for students from first grade to 12th standard.
Enlightenment guidelines include eight stages of online / digital education- Plan- Review- System- Guidance- Yak (talk) - Assign- Track- Appreciation. These eight guide the planning and implementation of digital education in a phased manner with examples.

Iran has left India out of the Chabahar rail project, giving a big blow to India.
Iran has attributed the delay in funding of the project by India. Iran has announced that it will now single-handedly complete the project.
Iran's decision is being considered a strategic and strategic blow for India. Significantly, there is going to be a 400 billion dollar Mahadeal between Iran and China.
It is believed that due to this deal, Iran has excluded India from the Chabahar project.

Apart from buying 72 thousand assault rifles from America, now the Indian Army will also buy Heron drones and Spike Anti Guided Missiles from Israel.
This purchase will be done through the Emergency Fund given by the Central Government.
The three forces are already using the Heron Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) for surveillance in the Ladakh sector.
The three armies have been using heron drones for the past few years. It can fly for two days at a time and can monitor every movement of the enemy from a height of 10 km.
The military is also thinking of purchasing spike anti-tank guided examples from Israel.
A consignment of these missiles came after the Balakot air strike last year.
Last year, the army received 12 launchers and 200 spike missiles.
DRDO is also developing indigenous portable anti-tank guided missile. Through this, the requirements of 50 thousand such missiles of infantry units will be met.
Apart from this, the process of procurement of Spice-2000 bombs, assault rifles and missiles has already been initiated by the Army to deal with the situation on LAC.

The Office of the Economic Advisor of the Department of Industry and Internal Trade Promotion has released the Wholesale Price Index (WPI) for June 2020 (provisional) and April 2020 (final).
The provisional figures of the Wholesale Price Index (WPI) are compiled with data obtained from selected manufacturing units across the country and released on the 14th of every month (or the next working day).
The annual rate of inflation based on the annual wholesale price index (WPI) stood at -1.81% (provisional) during June 2020 (as compared to June, 2019) as against 2.02% in the same month last year.
In India, the inflation rate is calculated using the wholesale price index as the base. However, due to the large difference between the wholesale price and the retail price, some people do not consider this method to be correct.
