21-year-old Kovid-19 from India and Swayamvika Meera Mehta of Srimad Rajchandra Love and Care NGO have recently been honored with the prestigious The Diana Award.
The award honors the social work of individuals between the ages of 9 and 25 years.
The award is given by the charity fund in memory of Princess Diana of Wales.
Inspired by the guidance of his spiritual mentor Pujya Gurudevashri Rakeshbhai, the founder of the Srimad Rajchandra Prem and Care Institute, Meera was working for selfless persons from a young age. He is dedicated to raising funds to uplift the disadvantaged sections for the last 10 years.

Rajasthan Akshay Urja Nigam Limited has decided to issue an allotment letter to 623 farmers of the state to set up 722 MW solar power plants under Pradhan Mantri Kusum Yojana Component-A.
Rajasthan is the first state in the country in the Kusum scheme of the Central Government, by which the selection process of farmers has been completed and solar plants of the highest capacity will be installed in the Kusum scheme compared to other states of the country.
Under this scheme, solar power plants ranging from 0.5 to 2 MW capacity can be set up by farmers on their own unused or wastelands. This will give farmers regular income for 25 years from their barren or unusable land.
With this, the farmers of the state will get great success in supplying power for agricultural work during the day. Apart from this, there will also be a reduction in the cost of electricity distribution of the distribution corporations and on the system expansion.
In the budget announcement 2019-20, a total of 2600 MW capacity solar power plants have been targeted to be installed on farmers' land.
The PM-Kusum scheme was approved on 8 March 2019 and the implementation guidelines were released on 22.7.2019.
The plan includes grid connected power plants (0.5 - 2 MW) / solar water pumps / grid connected agricultural pumps.

The State Forest Department's Research Cell has developed the country's first 'Lichen Park' in Munsiyari, a beautiful hilly area of ​​Kumaon region of Uttarakhand.
Lichen is a type of vegetation. It thrives on tree trunks, walls, rocks and soil.
Lichen is a duplex plant composed of two completely different flora. One of these plants is algae and the other is fungus, but both of them have such close association that the lichen made from them appears to be a single plant. This association mostly consists of fungi, which cover like a bag over the algae.
Surrounded by snow-clad peaks, Munsiyari was chosen to grow the garden as it is considered to be suitable for the fungus to flourish.
The fungus is also called 'Jhoola' or 'stone flower' in the local language. Spread over two acres of land, the park has more than 80 species of fungi. They are also cast in the famous Hyderabadi Biryani.
More than 20,000 species of fungi are found worldwide. There are 2714 species of fungi in India.
