The government has banned 59 mobile apps, including TicketLock, amid the India-China tension. This list of Government of India includes UC Browser, Shareite, UC Browser, MI Community App etc.
The Ministry of Information Technology has banned these 59 Chinese mobile apps under Section 69A (Section 69A of the Information Technology Act) of the Information Technology Act.

The Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) has started land acquisition for its second launchpad at Kulasekarpattinam, a town in Thoothukudi (Tuticorin) district of Tamil Nadu.
ISRO's first and only spacecraft, the Satish Dhawan Space Center (SDSC), is located in Sriharikota, about 100 km north of Chennai, in the state of Andhra Pradesh. The organization launched its PSLV and GSLV rockets from here.
SDSC, established in 1971, currently has two active launchpads. Its first launchpad declaration was made after the augmented satellite launch vehicle program ended in 1994.
The first of the two active pads is mostly used for PSLV and the second, GSLV, and other missions. A third launchpad also works in the same complex.
ISRO's upcoming Small Satellite Launch Vehicle (SSLV) from the second spaceport at Kulasekarpattinam, which the organization has developed to launch small satellites more frequently, will be launched.

The SRS-2018 data has been released by the Office of the Registrar General and Census Commissioner.
During 2018, the nationally crude birth rate (CBR) has reached 20.0, showing a decline of 0.2 points over 2017. Maximum CBR (26.2) is reported in Bihar and minimum (13.9) in Kerala.
The CBR for the country declined by 1.4 points from 2013 to 2018. The corresponding fall is 1.3 points in rural CBR and 0.6 points in urban CBR.
The crude death rate (CDR) for the country in 2018 is 6.2. Maximum CDR has been reported for Chhattisgarh (8.0) and minimum for Delhi (3.3). During the last five years, the decline in national CDR has been 0.8 points.
Infant Mortality Rate (IMR) has also declined nationally in 2018 from 33 to 1 point in 2017. Maximum IMR is seen in Madhya Pradesh (48) and minimum in Kerala (7).
The IMR for the country has fallen from 40 (2013) to 32 in 2018, an 8-point drop over the past 5 years and an annual average decline of about 1.6 points.
In 2018, the U5MR for the country has shown a fall of 1 point in 2018 (36 in 2018 as compared to 37 in 2017).
The sex ratio at birth for the country has increased by 3 points to 899 in 2016-18 from 896 in 2015-2017.
Chhattisgarh has the highest sex ratio at birth (958), while Uttarakhand has the lowest (840).
The total fertility rate (TFR) for the country is stable at 2.2 in 2018 and 2017. During 2018, Bihar has the highest TFR (3.2) and Delhi and West
