राजस्थान सरकार ने परिपत्र जारी कर राज्य में विशेष योग्यजनों को समाज में समान अवसर प्रदान करने हेतु दिव्यांगजन अधिकार अधिनियम-2016 को लागू किया है।
इस अधिनियम के तहत राज्य सरकार द्वारा दिव्यांगजन व्यक्तियों को समानता के अवसर प्रदान करना, उपयुक्त वातावरण प्रदान कर दिव्यांगजन व्यक्तियों की क्षमता का उपयोग करना, दिव्यांगजन व्यक्ति के साथ दिव्यांगजन के आधार पर भेदभाव नहीं किया जाए।
इसी प्रकार दिव्यांगजन के आधार पर उनकी व्यक्तिगत स्वतंत्रता से वंचित नहीं किया जाए। राज्य सरकार द्वारा दिव्यांगजन व्यक्तियों को उचित आवास उपलब्ध कराना सुनिश्चित करने के लिए आवश्यक कदम उठाने, राज्य सरकार द्वारा दिव्यांगजन व्यक्तियों को यातना, अमानवीय, अपमानजनक व्यवहार से बचाने के लिए उपाय एवं प्रावधान किये गये हैं।
यदि किसी विभाग, निगम, बोर्ड एवं आयोग द्वारा अधिनियम की पालना नहीं की जाती है तो संबंधित के विरुद्ध नियमानुसार आवश्यक कार्यवाही किये जाने का प्रावधान है।
दिव्यांगजन अधिकार अधिनियम, 2016 की विशेषताएँ
विकलांगता की परिभाषा में बदलाव: अपंगता के मौजूदा प्रकारों को 7 से बढ़ाकर 21 कर दिया गया
आरक्षण की व्यवस्था:अधिनियम में आरक्षण 3% से बढ़ाकर 4% कर दिया गया है।
शिक्षा संबंधी सुधार: बेंचमार्क विकलांगता (benchmark-disability) से पीड़ित 6 से 18 वर्ष तक के बच्चों के लिये निःशुल्क शिक्षा की व्यवस्था
फंड की व्यवस्था: ‘राष्ट्रीय और राज्य निधि’ (National and State Fund) का निर्माण
अवसरंचना संबंधी सुधार: सुलभ भारत अभियान व सार्वजनिक इमारतों (सरकारी और निजी दोनों) में दिव्यांगजनों की पहुँच सुनिश्चित करने पर बल
प्रत्येक ज़िले में विशेष न्यायालयों को नामित किया जाएगा।

पर्यावरण के लिए खतरा बने सिंगल-यूज प्लास्टिक से निजात पाने के लिए केंद्र सरकार ने एक अहम कदम उठाया है। एक जुलाई 2022 के बाद से देश में इसका इस्तेमाल पूरी तरह से प्रतिबंधित हो जाएगा।
इसी के साथ सरकार ने प्लास्टिक बैग की मोटाई को लेकर तैयार किए गए नए नियमों को चरणबद्ध तरीके से लागू करने की योजना बनाई है। यह 30 सितंबर के बाद लागू होगी।
पहले चरण में प्लास्टिक की मोटाई को 50 माइक्रोन से बढ़ाकर 75 माइक्रोन करने का प्रस्ताव है, जबकि अगले चरण में इसे 75 माइक्रोन से बढ़ाकर 100 माइक्रोन या उससे ज्यादा किया जाएगा।
इसके तहत पाली स्टाइनिग और एक्सपैंडेड पालीस्टाइनिन सहित सिंगल यूज वाले प्लास्टिक के उत्पादन, आयात, भंडारण, वितरण, बिक्री और उपयोग पर प्रतिबंध होगा।
सरकार ने पहली बार सिंगल यूज प्लास्टिक को भी परिभाषित किया है। वह वस्तुएं इस श्रेणी में आएंगी, जिसे डिस्पोजल या फिर रीसाइकिल के पहले एक काम के लिए एक बार ही इस्तेमाल में लाया जाना है।

इंडिगऊ विशुद्ध रूप से एक स्वदेशी चिप है और 11,496 मार्कर के साथ दुनिया की सबसे बड़ी पशु चिप है इस चिप का उद्देश्य हमारी अपनी नस्लों को बेहतर पात्र बनाने वाले लक्ष्य की प्राप्ति करते हुए 2022 तक किसानों की आय को दोगुना करने में सहायता प्रदान करना है।
इस स्वदेशी चिप को जैव प्रौद्योगिकी विभाग के अंतर्गत एक स्वायत्त संस्था नेशनल इंस्टीट्यूट ऑफ एनिमल बायोटेक्नोलॉजी (एनएआईबी), हैदराबाद के वैज्ञानिकों के अथक प्रयासों के द्वारा विकसित किया गया है।
एकल न्यूक्लियोटाइड बहुरूपता(एसएनपी), जीवों में सबसे आम प्रकार की आनुवंशिक भिन्नता है। प्रत्येक एसएनपी एक डीएनए बिल्डिंग ब्लॉक में एक अंतर का प्रतिनिधित्व करता है, जिसे न्यूक्लियोटाइड कहा जाता है।इनका प्रयोग जैविक मार्कर के रूप में किया जाता है।

फिट इंडिया फ्रीडम रन का उद्देश्य लोगों को शारीरिक और मानसिक रूप से स्वस्थ रखना है। उन्हें इससे मोटापा, आलस्य और अन्य बीमारियों से आजादी मिलेगी। देशभर में सात सौ 44 जिलों और तीस हजार शैक्षिक संस्थानों में इसका आयोजन किया जाएगा।

दीन दयाल उपाध्याय अंत्योदय योजना (डीएवाई-एनयूएलएम) शहरी गरीब महिलाओं को स्थायी सूक्ष्म उद्यमों को बढ़ावा देने में सक्षम बनाने के लिए पर्याप्त कौशल और अवसरों से लैस करने पर ध्यान केंद्रित कर रही है।
यह कार्यक्रम शहरी गरीब परिवारों की महिलाओं को उनके लिए एक सहायता प्रणाली बनाने के लिए स्वयं सहायता समूहों और उनके संघों में शामिल होने में मदद करता है। "लगभग 60 लाख सदस्यों के साथ विभिन्न राज्यों / केंद्र शासित प्रदेशों में 5.7 लाख से अधिक एसएचजी का गठन किया गया है।
हालाँकि उत्पादित उत्पाद मुख्य रूप से स्थानीय पड़ोस के बाजारों में बेचे जा रहे थे क्योंकि इनके पास राष्ट्रीय स्तर पर दृश्यता और व्यापक बाजार पहुंच प्राप्त करने में बाधाएं थीं।
इन चुनौतियों को दूर करने के लिए, MoHUA ने महिला सशक्तिकरण के उद्देश्य से ई-कॉमर्स दिग्गज Amazon और Flipkart के साथ एक समझौता ज्ञापन (MoU) में प्रवेश किया है।

100 गीगावाट क्षमता स्थापित की गई है जबकि 50 गीगावाट क्षमता की स्थापना का कार्य चल रहा है और 27 गीगावाट क्षमता के लिए निविदाएं निकाली गई हैं। पनबिजली क्षमता को शामिल करने पर स्थापित नवीकरणीय ऊर्जा क्षमता बढ़कर 146 गीगावाट हो जाएगी।

The Government of Rajasthan has implemented the Rights of Persons with Disabilities Act-2016 to provide equal opportunities in the society to specially abled persons in the state by issuing circulars.
Under this act, the state government should provide equal opportunities to persons with disabilities, provide suitable environment, utilize the potential of persons with disabilities, do not discriminate against persons with disabilities on the basis of disability.
Similarly, personal liberty should not be denied to the handicapped on the ground of disability. The State Government has taken necessary steps to ensure that persons with disabilities are provided proper accommodation, measures and provisions have been made by the State Government to protect persons with disabilities from torture, inhuman, degrading treatment.
If the Act is not followed by any department, corporation, board and commission, then there is a provision to take necessary action against the concerned as per rules.

The central government has taken an important step to get rid of single-use plastic that has become a threat to the environment. From July 1, 2022, its use will be completely banned in the country.
With this, the government has planned to implement the new rules prepared regarding the thickness of plastic bags in a phased manner. It will be applicable after 30 September.
The plastic thickness is proposed to be increased from 50 microns to 75 microns in the first phase, while in the next phase it will be increased from 75 microns to 100 microns or more.
Under this, there will be a ban on the production, import, storage, distribution, sale and use of single-use plastics including polystyrene and expanded polystyrene.
The government has also defined single use plastic for the first time. Those items will fall under this category, which are to be used only once for one purpose before being disposed or recycled.

MoHUA launches a brand for urban SHG products – ‘Sonchiriya’
This initiative is a step towards ensuring increased visibility and global reach for products made by women.
Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Antyodaya Yojana (DAY-NULM) is focusing on equipping urban poor women with adequate skills and opportunities to enable them to promote sustainable micro enterprises.
This program helps women from urban poor families to join self-help groups and their associations to create a support system for them. “More than 5.7 lakh SHGs have been formed in various states/UTs with around 60 lakh members.
However, the products produced were being sold primarily in local neighborhood markets as these had barriers to achieving national visibility and wide market reach.
To address these challenges, MoHUA has entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with e-commerce giants Amazon and Flipkart, aimed at women empowerment.
