71- How many policemen of Rajasthan have been awarded 'Home Minister's Medal for Excellence in Investigation' for the year 2021-

In Rajasthan, nine policemen of the state including Additional Superintendent of Police, Udaipur, Shri Ananth Kumar have been awarded 'Home Minister's Medal for Excellence in Investigation' for the year 2021. This medal was instituted in the year 2018 with the objective of promoting high professional standards in investigation of crimes and to recognize the hard work of Investigating Officers who have made excellent investigations. Current Udaipur Additional recipient of "Home Minister's Excellence in Investigation" medal. SP Shri Ananth Kumar was the then investigating officer of Rajasthan ATS in Jaipur in the case of investigation of 12 terrorists related to terrorist activities of Indian Mujahideen in Rajasthan.
Along with Mr. Ananth Kumar, Deputy SP Suresh Sharma, Inspector Anil Doria, Inspector Dinesh Lakhawat, Inspector Darjya Ram, Inspector Ashok Anjana, DCP Dharmendra Singh, Inspector Arun Kumar, Head Constable Bhavani Singh were also awarded Home Minister's Investigation Excellence Medal 2021.

The Indira Gandhi Urban Credit Card Scheme 2021 has been implemented by the state government to provide self-employment opportunities to the youth of the urban areas, street vendors and service sector youth.
Through the scheme, interest free loan up to Rs 50,000 will be made available to the beneficiaries.
The goal of this scheme is to resettle the street vendors, people providing essential services in the informal sector like hair dressers, rickshawwalas, potters, khatis, cobblers, masons, tailors etc. and unemployed youth by providing them financial support.
Through this scheme, the beneficiaries will be provided the facility of interest free micro-credit for business activities without any guarantee.
This scheme will be applicable for one year and loans will be sanctioned under the scheme till March 31, 2022. The loan moratorium period will be 3 months and loan repayment period will be 12 months.
Traders working in the streets, unemployed youth who are registered in the District Employment Center and are in the age group of 18 to 40 years and who are not getting unemployment allowance, they will get the benefit of the scheme.

The number of Asiatic lions in Gujarat has increased to 674. The Government of Gujarat has announced Lion Project for the conservation and promotion of lions with public awareness.
Under this, 3 gene pools will be created in Saurashtra, Lion Hospital and Disease Diagnostic Research Center in Sasan.
In order to preserve the heredity of lions, a gene pool has been started at Rampara in Saurashtra, Sakkarbagh in Junagadh, Satvirda.
The only one in the world is the habitat of Asiatic lions in the Sasan Gir forest of Gujarat and now their number has now reached 674. The number of lions here has increased by 29 percent in the last 6 years.
The lion population is found in an area of about 30,000 sq km of Gujarat and is called the Asiatic Lion Landscape (ALL). Project Lion was announced by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on August 15, 2020.
Under this, Lion Rescue Centers and Hospitals, laboratories, breeding centers, lion care facilities, radio collars and many modern techniques for conservation will be adopted in the state.
Asiatic Lion-
It is listed as Endangered under the Red List of the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN). -
Listed in Schedule-I under the Indian Wildlife Protection Act, 1972. -
The population of Asiatic lions is limited only to the state of Gujarat in India.
It is mainly found in Gir forests and some other protected areas spread over Junagadh, Amreli and Bhavnagar districts.
