देश में जॉनसन एंड जॉनसन की सिंगल डोज वैक्सीन को आपात इस्तेमाल की मंजूरी दे दी गई है। अब तक भारत में 5 वैक्सीन को इमरजेंसी इस्तेमाल की मंजूरी मिल चुकी है।

भारत में फिलहाल कोवैक्सीन, कोविशील्ड और रूसी वैक्सीन स्पूतनिक-वी का आपात इस्तेमाल किया जा रहा है। मॉर्डना को भी आपात इस्तेमाल की मंजूरी मिली है, लेकिन वैक्सीन के साथ क्षतिपूर्ति की शर्त पर मामला अभी अटका हुआ है।

कुछ समय पहले ही अमेरिकी फार्मास्‍यूटिकल कंपनी जॉनसन एंड जॉनसन ने तेलंगाना की बायोलॉजिकल ई लिमिटेड के साथ कोविड-19 वैक्सीन के उत्पादन के लिए समझौता किया है।

इस वैक्सीन को अमेरिका, यूरोप और थाईलैंड तथा दक्षिण अफ्रीका सहित कई देशों में स्वीकृति मिल चुकी है। कंपनी ने फेज 3 क्लिनिकल ट्रायल के डेटा का हवाला वैक्सीन सभी क्षेत्रों में हुई स्‍टडीज में गंभीर बीमारी रोकने में 85% तक सक्षम पाई गई। इस वैक्सीन की एक एक केवल एक ही डोज होगी।

प्रधानमंत्री श्री नरेन्द्र मोदी ने 2015 में 'सागर'(एसएजीएआर-क्षेत्र में सभी की सुरक्षा और विकास) के दृष्टिकोण को सामने रखा। यह दृष्टि, महासागरों के सतत उपयोग के लिए सहकारी उपायों पर केंद्रित हैऔर सुरक्षित तथा स्थिर समुद्री क्षेत्र के लिए एक रूपरेखा प्रदान करती है। 2019 में, पूर्वी एशिया शिखर सम्मेलन में, भारत प्रशांत समुद्री पहल (आई पी ओ आई ) के माध्यम से इस विचार को और विस्तार दिया गया था।

इसके तहत समुद्री सुरक्षा के सात स्तंभों को रेखांकित किया गया था, जिनमें शामिल हैं - 

समुद्री पारितंत्र; समुद्री संसाधन; क्षमता निर्माण और संसाधन साझा करना; आपदा के जोखिम को कम करना और प्रबंधन; विज्ञान, प्रौद्योगिकी और शैक्षणिक सहयोग तथा व्यापार संपर्क व समुद्री परिवहन।

50-  उज्ज्वला योजना के दूसरे चरण (प्रधानमंत्री उज्ज्वला योजना - पीएमयूवाई) का शुभारंभ किस राज्य से किया जा रहा है -

प्रधानमंत्री श्री नरेन्द्र मोदी 10 अगस्त, 2021 को  उत्तर प्रदेश के महोबा में एलपीजी कनेक्शन सौंपकर उज्ज्वला योजना के दूसरे चरण (प्रधानमंत्री उज्ज्वला योजना - पीएमयूवाई) का शुभारंभ करेंगे।

वर्ष 2016 में शुरू किए गए उज्ज्वला योजना 1.0 के दौरान, गरीबी रेखा से नीचे जीवन बसर करने वाले परिवारों की 5 करोड़ महिला सदस्यों को एलपीजी कनेक्शन उपलब्ध कराने का लक्ष्य रखा गया था। इसके बाद, अप्रैल 2018 में इस योजना का विस्तार कर इसमें सात और श्रेणियों (अनुसूचित जाति / अनुसूचित जनजाति, पीएमएवाई, एएवाई, अत्यंत पिछड़ा वर्ग, चाय बागान, वनवासी, द्वीप समूह) की महिला लाभार्थियों को शामिल किया गया।

साथ ही, इसके लक्ष्य को संशोधित कर 8 करोड़ एलपीजी कनेक्शन कर दिया गया। इस लक्ष्य को निर्धारित तिथि से सात महीने पहले अगस्त 2019 में ही हासिल कर लिया गया।

वित्तीय वर्ष 21-22 के केन्द्रीय बजट में पीएमयूवाई योजना के तहत एक करोड़ अतिरिक्त एलपीजी कनेक्शन के प्रावधान की घोषणा की गई थी। इन एक करोड़ अतिरिक्त पीएमयूवाई कनेक्शन (उज्ज्वला 2.0 के तहत) का उद्देश्य कम आय वाले उन परिवारों को जमा-मुक्त एलपीजी कनेक्शन प्रदान करना है, जिन्हें पीएमयूवाई के पहले चरण के तहत शामिल नहीं किया जा सका था।

उज्ज्वला 2.0 के तहत लाभार्थियों को जमा मुक्त एलपीजी कनेक्शन के साथ – साथ  पहला रिफिल और हॉटप्लेट निःशुल्क प्रदान किया जायेगा।

भारतीय नौसेना ने आबूधाबी के तट पर संयुक्त अरब अमीरात की नौसेना के साथ द्विपक्षीय अभ्यास जायेद तलवार 2021 किया।

आईएनएस कोच्चि के साथ दो सी-किंग एम. के. 42-बी हैलीकॉप्टर भी इस अभ्यास के लिए फारस की खाड़ी में तैनात किए गए थे। संयुक्त अरब अमीरात की ओर से प्रक्षेपास्त्र युक्त यूएईएस ए.एल. दफरा-बेनुनाह और एक ए.एस.-565-बी पेंथर हैलीकॉप्टर ने हिस्सा लिया।

इस अभ्यास के दौरान दोनों देशों की नौसेनाओं के बीच लक्ष्य साधने, बचाव और राहत अभियान चलाने तथा आपसी सहयोग पर बल दिया गया। पूरे अभ्यास के दौरान हैलीकॉप्टरों का व्यापक रूप से इस्तेमाल किया गया।

भारत की प्रमुख अंतरिक्ष एजेंसी भारतीय अंतरिक्ष अनुसंधान संगठन (इसरो) इस साल दिसंबर में एक भूटानी उपग्रह लॉन्च करने के लिए तैयार है। भूटान के आईएनएस-2बी उपग्रह का विकास चार भूटानी इंजीनियरों द्वारा किया जा रहा है, जिन्हें इसरो द्वारा प्रशिक्षित किया जा रहा है।

भारत के दक्षिण एशिया उपग्रह (एसएएस) के लिए एक ग्राउंड अर्थ स्टेशन का उद्घाटन अगस्त 2019 में प्रधान मंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी की यात्रा के दौरान थिम्पू, भूटान में किया गया था।

SAS को भारत द्वारा 2017 में भूटान सहित दक्षिण एशिया क्षेत्र के देशों को उपहार के रूप में लॉन्च किया गया था। परियोजना के तहत भूटान के लिए उपग्रह पर एक अतिरिक्त ट्रांसपोंडर पर बढ़ी हुई बैंडविड्थ प्रदान की गई है।

इससे पूर्व 28 फरवरी 2021 को, भारत के ध्रुवीय उपग्रह प्रक्षेपण यान PSLV-C51 ने आंध्र प्रदेश के श्रीहरिकोटा के सतीश धवन अंतरिक्ष केंद्र SHAR से 18 सह-यात्री उपग्रहों के साथ Amazonia-1 को सफलतापूर्वक लॉन्च किया।

पीएसएलवी द्वारा अब तक 34 से अधिक देशों से 342 उपग्रह अंतरिक्ष में स्थापित किए जा चुके है।

यह परियोजना छत्तीसगढ़, गुजरात, केरल, मध्य प्रदेश, महाराष्ट्र, मणिपुर, मेघालय, ओडिशा, राजस्थान और तमिलनाडु में लगभग 120 बांधों में और राष्ट्रीय स्तर पर सीडब्ल्यूसी के माध्यम से लागू की जाएगी।

भारत में बांध सुरक्षा के लिए विश्व बैंक के समर्थन में हाल ही में पूर्ण DRIP-1 ($ 279 मिलियन + $ 62 मिलियन अतिरिक्त वित्तपोषण) शामिल है, जिसने भारत में छह राज्यों और एक केंद्रीय एजेंसी में 223 बांधों की सुरक्षा और टिकाऊ प्रदर्शन में योगदान दिया है। परियोजना 2012 में शुरू होकर 31 मार्च 2021 को पूर्ण होगी ।

Some time ago, American pharmaceutical company Johnson & Johnson has tied up with Biological E Limited of Telangana for the production of Kovid-19 vaccine.

This vaccine has been approved in many countries including America, Europe and Thailand and South Africa. The company cited data from Phase 3 clinical trials and found the vaccine to be up to 85% capable of preventing serious disease in all areas of studies. There will be only one dose of this vaccine.

The Prime Minister will chair a high-level open debate of the United Nations Security Council (UNSC) on "Promoting Maritime Security: The Need for International Cooperation".

In 2015, the Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi, put forward the vision of SAGAR (Sagar - Security and Growth for All in the Region). The vision focuses on cooperative measures for sustainable use of the oceans and provides a framework for a safe and stable maritime sector. In 2019, at the East Asia Summit, the idea was further expanded through the India Pacific Maritime Initiative (IPOI).

Under this, seven pillars of maritime security were outlined, which include -

marine ecosystem; marine resources; Capacity building and resource sharing; disaster risk reduction and management; Science, technology and academic cooperation and trade links and maritime transport.

The Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi will launch the second phase of Ujjwala Yojana (Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana - PMUY) on August 10, 2021 by handing over LPG connections at Mahoba, Uttar Pradesh.

During the Ujjwala Yojana 1.0 launched in the year 2016, a target was set to provide LPG connections to 5 crore women members of families living below the poverty line. Subsequently, in April 2018, the scheme was expanded to include women beneficiaries of seven more categories (SC/ST, PMAY, AAY, Extremely Backward Classes, Tea Garden, Forest Dwellers, Islanders).

Also, its target was revised to 8 crore LPG connections. This target was achieved in August 2019 itself, seven months before the scheduled date.

The provision of one crore additional LPG connections under PMUY scheme was announced in the Union Budget for the financial year 21-22. These one crore additional PMUY connections (under Ujjwala 2.0) are aimed at providing deposit-free LPG connections to low-income households that could not be covered under the first phase of PMUY.

Under Ujjwala 2.0, the first refill and hotplate will be provided free of cost to the beneficiaries along with deposit free LPG connection.

INS Kochi was accompanied by two Sea-King M.K. 42-B helicopters were also deployed in the Persian Gulf for this exercise. The UAES AL with the missile from the United Arab Emirates. Dafra-Benunah and an AS-565-B Panther helicopter took part.

During this exercise, emphasis was laid on targeting, carrying out rescue and relief operations and mutual cooperation between the navies of the two countries. Helicopters were widely used throughout the exercise.

India's premier space agency Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) is all set to launch a Bhutanese satellite in December this year. Bhutan's INS-2B satellite is being developed by four Bhutanese engineers, who are being trained by ISRO.

A ground earth station for India's South Asia Satellite (SAS) was inaugurated in Thimphu, Bhutan during the visit of Prime Minister Narendra Modi in August 2019.

SAS was launched by India in 2017 as a gift to countries in the South Asia region, including Bhutan. Under the project, an additional transponder on the satellite for Bhutan has been provided with increased bandwidth.

Earlier on 28 February 2021, India's Polar Satellite Launch Vehicle PSLV-C51 successfully launched Amazonia-1 along with 18 co-passenger satellites from Satish Dhawan Space Center SHAR in Sriharikota, Andhra Pradesh.

PSLV has so far placed 342 satellites in space from more than 34 countries.

Recently, the Government of India, the Central Water Commission, 10 participating states and the World Bank signed a long-term dam safety program and a $250 million project to improve the safety and performance of existing dams in various states.

The Second Dam Rehabilitation and Improvement Project (DRIP-2) will strengthen dam safety by creating dam safety guidelines, bringing global experience and introducing innovative technologies.

The project will be implemented in about 120 dams in Chhattisgarh, Gujarat, Kerala, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Manipur, Meghalaya, Odisha, Rajasthan and Tamil Nadu and through CWC at the national level.

World Bank support for dam safety in India includes the recently completed DRIP-1 ($279 million + $62 million additional funding), which has helped in the safety and sustainable performance of 223 dams in India across six states and one central agency. have contributed.
