मेजर प्रमिला और उनके पिताजी ने अपनी जमा पूंजी से सड़कों पर आवारा घूम रहे जानवरों के खान-पान और उपचार की व्यवस्था की।

हाल ही में इलेक्ट्रॉनिक्स और सूचना प्रौद्योगिकी मंत्रालय (MeitY) ने उमंग (Unified Mobile Application for New-age Governance- UMANG) एप में मैप सेवाओं को सक्षम किया है।

उमंग मोबाइल एप (यूनिफाइड मोबाइल एप्लीकेशन फॉर न्यू-एज गवर्नेंस) भारत सरकार का एकल, एकीकृत, सुरक्षित, मल्टी-चैनल, मल्टी-प्लेटफॉर्म, बहुभाषी, मल्टी-सर्विस मोबाइल एप है। यह ‘डिजिटल इंडिया’ से जुड़ी एक पहल

‘उमंग’ भारत सरकार की ढेर सारी सेवाओं जैसे- स्वास्थ्य देखभाल, वित्त, शिक्षा, आवास, ऊर्जा, कृषि, परिवहन से लेकर उपयोगिता और रोज़गार एवं कौशल तक तक आसान पहुँच प्रदान करके नागरिकों के लिये 'ईज ऑफ लिविंग' को सक्षम बनाता है।

हरियाणा सरकार ने हाल ही में गुरुग्राम के फर्रुखनगर में खाद्यान्न वितरण के लिये पहली एटीएम मशीन यानी ‘ग्रेन एटीएम’ स्थापित किया है। ‘ग्रेन एटीएम’ बैंक एटीएम की तरह ही एक स्वचालित मशीन है, जिसमें अनाज की माप में त्रुटि नगण्य होती है।

मशीन में टच-स्क्रीन के साथ एक बायोमेट्रिक सिस्टम भी है, जहाँ लाभार्थियों को अपना अनाज प्राप्त करने के लिये आधार या राशन कार्ड नंबर दर्ज करना होगा।

यह मशीन तीन प्रकार के अनाज- चावल, बाजरा और गेहूँ का वितरण करेगी। इस मशीन के माध्यम से सरकारी डिपो में खाद्यान्न की कमी की शिकायतों का भी निराकरण किया जा सकेगा।

बैडमिंटन के वैश्विक शासी निकाय ‘विश्व बैडमिंटन महासंघ’ (BWF) ने घोषणा की है कि वर्ष 2026 में ‘विश्व बैडमिंटन चैंपियनशिप’ की मेज़बानी भारत द्वारा की जाएगी। यह दूसरी बार होगा जब भारत द्वारा ‘विश्व बैडमिंटन चैंपियनशिप’ की मेज़बानी की जाएगी, इससे पूर्व वर्ष 2009 में हैदराबाद में इस प्रतिष्ठित चैंपियनशिप का आयोजन किया गया था।

विश्व बैडमिंटन महासंघ (BWF) की स्थापना 5 जुलाई, 1934 को नौ संस्थापक सदस्य संघों के साथ लंदन में की गई थी। वर्तमान में इस महासंघ में 196 सदस्य संघ शामिल हैं। इसका मुख्यालय कुआलालंपुर (मलेशिया) में स्थित है।

राजस्थान राज्य जैविक प्रमाणीकरण संस्था में 90 जैविक उत्पादक समूह पंजीकृत हैं जिनसे करीब 20 हजार से अधिक किसान जुड़े हुए हैं।

यह किसान जैविक अनाज, जैविक सब्जी, जैविक मसाले तथा जैविक फलों का उत्पादन कर रहे हैं, लेकिन इन्हें अपनी उपज बेचने के लिए खरीददार ढूंढने में कठिनाई आती है। इससे निजात दिलाने के लिए किसान तथा उपभोक्ता को ऑनलाइन मंच उपलब्ध करवाने के लिए ‘राज किसान जैविक’ मोबाइल एप विकसित किया गया है।

दुर्लभ मंकीपॉक्स वायरस, चिकनपॉक्स वायरस फैमिली से संबंधित है। इसका संक्रमण काफी गंभीर भी हो सकता है। संक्रमित व्यक्ति के शरीर पर बड़े-बड़े दानों के आधार पर इस संक्रमण की पहचान की जा सकती है।

विश्व स्वास्थ्य संगठन (डब्ल्यूएचओ) के मुताबिक साल 1970 में पहली बार इंसानों में मंकीपॉक्स संक्रमण के मामले सामने आए थे। तब से अब तक 11 अफ्रीकी देशों में इस संक्रमण की पुष्टि हो चुकी है।

मंकीपॉक्स संक्रमण, संक्रमित जानवरों के रक्त, शारीरिक तरल पदार्थ या त्वचा के घाव के संपर्क में आने के कारण इंसानों में फैलता है।

UMANG enables 'Ease of Living' for citizens by providing easy access to a plethora of Government of India services ranging from healthcare, finance, education, housing, energy, agriculture, transport to utilities and employment and skills. .

This machine will dispense three types of cereals – rice, bajra and wheat. Through this machine, complaints of shortage of food grains in government depots will also be resolved.
